Malpensa Airport Departures

Malpensa Airport has two terminal buildings with scheduled flights operating out of Terminal 1 and charter flights from Terminal 2. A free shuttle bus which connects the two terminals runs from outside the check in halls at regular 15 minute intervals 24 hours a day. The departures check-in area of Terminal 1 is located at the second floor where you will find a chemist, banks, cash points, currency exchange, VAT refund, newsagents, bookshops, beauty centre/hairdressing salon and  a laundry service.

There are special areas where you can breast-feed your baby in total privacy. The Baby Pit Stop in the Sala Amica has an ergonomically designed chair a table for baby things and changing top with screens offering complete privacy.

You can spend your time doing last minute shopping in the departures lounge on the first floor or you can get something to eat and drink with a choice of restaurants and snack bars offering typical Italian food or international specialties.

At Malpensa T1 check-in floor there is an area dedicated to the children with play rooms equipped with slides and games to keep younger members of the family occupied while they are waiting for their flights.

You can get wireless internet access at check-in, the boarding lounge and restaurants and bars.

The departures check-in area of Terminal 2 is located at ground floor where you will find a chemist, banks, post office, currency exchange, news stands and bookshops.  There are also a number of shops and plenty of places to where you can get something to eat and drink while waiting for your flight.
