The Quadrilatero d'Oro is the place for designer shopping, bordered by Via Montenapoleone, Via Sant' Andrea, Via Borgospesso and Via Della Spiga.

The fashion boutiques are works of art designed by leading architects and echoing minimalist chic with Gucci, Prada, Armani, Moschino, Valentino, Versace and Cartier all in evidence. More affordable clothes can be found along Corso Vittorio Emanuele - between the Duomo and Piazza San Babila - and around Via Torino which is on the other side of the Duomo. Around the Navigli area and up Corso di Porta Ticinese there are boutiques selling a mixture of retro, vintage and cutting-edge clothing and accessories. You should also try the historic Milan department store La Rinascente, next to the Duomo.
